Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician and become a vital part of safeguarding properties, landscapes, and agricultural environments from pests and unwanted nuisances. In this energetic role, you will utilize your expertise in pest management, lawn care, and land maintenance to deliver effective solutions that enhance the health and safety of our clients' properties. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help create pest-free, thriving outdoor spaces while supporting sustainable farming and landscaping practices. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial sites to identify pest issues and potential vulnerabilities Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals, tools, and equipment following safety protocols Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform maintenance, prevention care, and pest mitigation tasks Develop customized pest management plans tailored to each client's needs, including recommendations for ongoing prevention Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites while maintaining a clean driving record Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, materials used, and site conditions for compliance and reporting purposes Requirements Proven experience in pest control with knowledge of agricultural practices Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment efficiently and safely Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving company vehicles to multiple locations Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans and safety procedures clearly to clients Basic understanding of sales principles to promote additional services when appropriate (nice-to-have) Prior experience with pest control is advantageous but not mandatory Embark on a career that combines technical expertise with outdoor adventure!
