Job Description

Home Run Exterminating is hiring a dependable, motivated Pest Control Technician to provide high-quality pest control services to residential and commercial customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing a job right, and wants the opportunity to increase their income through commission.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled pest control services for residential and commercial customers
  • Inspect homes and businesses for pest activity, entry points, and conditions that may contribute to infestations
  • Apply pest control products safely and according to company procedures, label directions, and state regulations
  • Communicate professionally with customers and explain service findings or recommendations
  • Keep company vehicle, equipment, and materials clean, organized, and properly maintained
  • Collect payments when needed and report completed services daily
  • Identify opportunities for additional services, including termite protection, mosquito control, bed bug treatments, moisture control, and other pest-related needs
  • Represent Home Run Exterminating in a professional, respectful manner at all times
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required pest control licensing and certifications
  • Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, crawlspaces, attics, and around insects and rodents
  • Able to lift and carry equipment and materials as needed
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Previous pest control experience is preferred but not required; training may be provided
Pay:
This is a commission-based position. Pay is based on completed and paid services, with additional earning opportunities available through sales and add-on services. The more work completed and customers served, the greater the earning potential.
Schedule:
Full-time position. Schedule may vary based on customer appointments, route needs, and seasonal demand. If you are dependable, hardworking, and ready to grow with a locally owned pest control company, we would love to hear from you.
Pay:
$18.00
