We're looking for an experienced, licensed applicator to serve as our Responsible Party and help build the company from the ground up. You will be the company's RCA and main technician.

BastionPestControl.co (our company website) We do have a seperate business in Michigan that is also only a couple years old. That company is growing at in incredible rate and the technicians at that location all make between $75k-$100k per year. Most of your income does come from commissions and as a new business, we have to get those customers before you can get a higher pay. So your pay starting off will not be very high but your income will grow quickly. We do work longer hours during the summer season and will cut back on hours during the winter. All full time employees do get 1 week of paid vacation per year. Our plan for Bastion is to have a D2D sales team before year 3. So if you have D2D experience, then make sure to mention that in your cover letter. The first service area for the business will be North Austin, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Leadander. You do need to be willing to commute to this area daily.

Responsibilities:

Serve as Responsible Certified Applicator on our TDA business license Hold TX licenses for General Pest, Mosquito, Bed Bug, Rodent, and Cockroach (no wildlife/termite needed) Train and sign off on apprentices working toward licensure Perform and oversee treatment across all standard pest categories Help build our treatment standards, SOPs, and quality benchmarks from day one Represent the company to a high professional standard with clients

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on pest control experience Current TX license(s) for General Pest, Mosquito, Bed Bug, Rodent, and Cockroach (or ability to add quickly) Clean criminal background, clean driving record, ability to pass drug screen Credit check required (company vehicle/financial responsibility) Comfortable in a startup environment as hours scale toward full-time

Compensation:

Salaried to start, transitioning to 10-20% commission per service job as we grow — strong six-figure potential long-term (you will get paid biweekly with whichever number is larger) Company truck (shared) and iPhone/iPad included Real growth opportunity into a senior leadership role. The main objective for the RCA is to grow into a leadership role within the company
