  • Full-time As a Technician at Mosquito & Pest Authority, you will use proven products and techniques on both commercial and residential properties.
Our Treatment Specialists provide expert pest control services in a friendly, respectful, and efficient manner. A qualified pest control technician should be confident in their ability to handle multiple duties and responsibilities on any given workday. The primary responsibility of a pest control technician is to detect and eliminate unwelcome pests from homes and businesses. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous pests Offering sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options Providing estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance Setting traps for rodents Spraying perimeters of homes and structures for termites, ants and other insects Safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bees nests Laying down bait pellets to eliminate rats and mice Covering holes with foam, mesh and wood to hinder rodent entry Recommending products and services for effective pest control Responds to basic customer inquiries and requests and notifies the office of complaints or issues to ensure timely resolution. Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Work a flexible schedule as required to meet weekly responsibilities, including occasional weekend hours. Maintain a clean company vehicle and operate a vehicle safely Drive company vehicle to client sites to provide services in a professional, safe and friendly manner.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High School graduate / GED Valid Driver's license with excellent driving record General pest control knowledge required The job requires standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, climbing on ladders and pulling Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when necessary
Additional Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver's License Willingness to undergo a background check 5 +
