This energetic position offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise and customer service skills to deliver effective pest management solutions. As a key member of our pest control division, you will utilize your knowledge of pesticides, entomology, and safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of service and safety are maintained. Your proactive approach will help create pest-free environments while fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest issues using hand tools, ladders, and power tools as needed. Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and effectively following pesticide management guidelines and integrated pest management practices. Operate company vehicles responsibly to reach job sites promptly and efficiently. Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest activity, and treatment outcomes in compliance with safety protocols. Communicate clearly with clients to explain pest issues, treatment plans, and safety precautions, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Adhere strictly to safety protocols including respiratory protection measures, chemical handling procedures, and equipment maintenance to ensure personal and team safety. Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions or repairs on pest control tools or farm machinery when necessary. Support outdoor work activities such as lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture-related tasks that complement pest control efforts. Experience Prior experience in pest control as a Registered Technician #60. Demonstrated knowledge of pesticide application techniques and pesticide management best practices. Familiarity with entomology principles related to identifying pests and understanding their behaviors. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or other mechanical equipment used in outdoor or pest control work. Strong understanding of safety protocols including ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection requirements, and chemical handling regulations. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service while managing multiple job sites efficiently.
