Duties Safely ascend trees using climbing gear, rigging techniques, and bucket trucks or lifts to access difficult or high branches. Perform pruning, trimming, and removal of trees in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment such as lifts to facilitate tree work at various heights. Use GIS (Geographic Information System) tools to map and document tree locations, health status, and maintenance history. Conduct rigging operations for the safe removal of large limbs or hazardous trees while minimizing impact on surroundings. Assist with land surveying or land management tasks related to tree care projects when needed. Qualifications Proven growing experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a focus on tree care. Knowledge of tree trimming techniques, pruning standards, and overall tree health management. Experience operating bucket trucks or lift equipment is preferred. Familiarity with GIS software for mapping or data collection related to landscape projects is a plus. Ability to work at heights using climbing gear safely while following all safety guidelines.
