Regional Mobile Technician -

Job Obverview:

The Regional Mobile Technician is responsible for leveraging mechanical knowledge throughout an assigned territory, ensuring ready now status of internal and external assets. This technician manages inventory, diagnoses and repairs equipment, develops and maintains relationships with internal and external customers, oversee parts inventory as required, attends meetings, and travels extensively overnight to accomplish daily goals. The Regional Mobile Technician will fill in as needed for the Lead Vehicle Technician within assigned territory as needed. Must be equipped with personal hand tools, (removed box tools are stored in Service bed of truck).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Basic electrical, mechanical diagnostics, and repair

Ability to schedule and prioritize daily tasks

Basic PC knowledge, ABS diagnosis and repairs, and basic diagnostic tool skills

Understanding of tire inflation systems

Knowledge of how to mount and dismount tires

Knowledge of power, hand, diagnostic tools

Ability to operate material handling equipment

Must be capable of driving company equipment, including class 8 tractors indoor, outdoor and roadside work

Must be capable of driving and working out of a mobile shop truck

Must be able to work a flexible schedule and potentially be able to vary the start and finish times including weekends and holidays

Professional and appropriate interaction with internal and external customer.

Ability to schedule and prioritize daily tasks

Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions

Must adhere to company uniform and appearance standards

Ability to work remotely at various customer commercial sites without direct supervision Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old

Class A/B License preferred for some positions

Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certificate

DOT Brake/Annual Inspection certification

High school diploma or equivalency experience required

Clean driving record Coca-Cola Consolidatedis the nation's largest Coca-Cola bottler. Our diesel/fleet mechanics service external customers as well as Coca-Cola Consolidated fleet equipment.
