This position involves climbing trees, performing pruning, trimming, and rigging operations, and utilizing equipment to ensure the safety and aesthetics of trees. You will help enhance community green spaces while ensuring safety standards are met through skilled tree care practices. If you like outdoor settings and horticulture, this is the opportunity to work in arboriculture. Duties Climb trees safely using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access high branches efficiently. Use chainsaws and other hand tools to cut branches, remove deadwood, or clear hazardous limbs. Rig heavy limbs or sections of trees for safe lowering using rigging techniques and equipment. Conduct tree assessments to identify health issues or hazards. Plant pruning care, tree trimming to promote healthy growth. Good work attitude and respect for your responsibilities. Reliable! Be able to handle your position without whining.
