A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Job Description

Tree Crew Leader Responsibilities:

Perform all required ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments. Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully including but not limited to: Tree identification. Tree pruning to industry standards. Installing cabling & bracing systems. Tree planting & care. Tree Removal. Available 24/7 for Emergency calls due to weather, wind, snow, ice Properly maintain and operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and more. Climb - to new heights!

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of safe and professional tree climbing experience. Valid Driver's License Good Driving record and ability to obtain Medical DOT Card Work well & safely with others in a team environment! Provide exceptional customer service. Follow directions and pay close attention to detail. Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather. Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds or more. Not Required, but a plus: Background or education in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping. Relevant pesticide, LTE licenses and Arborist certification Executive function skills to grow into a management position.

Pay Range:
