Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree and Stump Work Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining healthy, beautiful landscapes through expert tree care and stump removal. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to ensure safe and efficient tree trimming, stump grinding, and land clearing. Your expertise will contribute to the safety, aesthetics, and health of our clients' properties while engaging in rewarding hands-on work that keeps you active and motivated every day. Duties Safely operate saws, blowers, and other small motor equipment. Execute stump grinding procedures using specialized equipment to eliminate unsightly or hazardous stumps. Use rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or trees during removal processes. Conduct debris clean up activities including, raking, shoveling and general upkeep to enhance overall property appearance. Hauling and backing equipment trailers onto commercial and residential properties. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance. Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment regularly and adhering to all safety protocols during operations. Requirements Proven experience in tree care, trimming, running saws, blowers, and other small motor equipment. Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting or lowering large limbs or trees during removal projects. Must have valid driver's license and experience hauling and backing up equipment trailers. Prior experience with stump grinding equipment and techniques is highly desirable but not required. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy loads safely.
