Job Description
Follmer Property Maintenance, LLC is a growing family-owned company serving the St. Charles and St. Louis areas for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced Tree Climber / Crew Leader to join our tree division. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and has strong leadership skills. Responsibilities Perform technical tree removals and pruning using proper climbing techniques. Safely climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other industry-standard equipment. Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree service equipment. Lead and supervise a tree crew to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently. Conduct daily job site safety meetings and enforce safety standards. Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding job progress. Train and mentor crew members on proper tree care and safety procedures. Assist with rigging operations and crane-assisted removals when necessary. Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are in proper working condition.
