Job Description
Join a Team That Works Hard, Has Fun, and Comes Home Safe. RPM is seeking an experienced and dependable Bucket Truck Operator with a valid Class A CDL to join our Tree Care Division. This is not a driving-only position. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in safely operating a bucket truck and CDL equipment but is equally willing to work alongside the tree crew performing tree pruning, removals, storm cleanup, rigging, chipping, and general tree care services. Responsibilities Safely operate bucket trucks, CDL vehicles, trailers, and tree care equipment Transport crews, equipment, and materials to and from job sites Perform aerial tree pruning and tree removal operations Assist with tree trimming, removals, storm response, and specialty tree work Work alongside ground crew members during all phases of tree operations Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Follow all OSHA, ANSI, and company safety standards Maintain equipment and keep vehicles clean and organized Communicate effectively with crew leaders, managers, and customers Qualifications Valid Class A CDL (Required) Experience operating a bucket truck (Required) Clean driving record Ability to safely operate chainsaws and tree care equipment Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work Comfortable working at heights Strong work ethic and team-first attitude Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Preferred, but not required Qualifications CDL driving experience with trailers and equipment transport Previous tree care, arboriculture, or utility line clearance experience preferred First Aid/CPR Certification OSHA training Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Paid holidays Paid sick time Company-provided apparel and PPE Professional development and advancement opportunities Year-round work opportunities for qualified team members RPM provides commercial landscape maintenance, construction, tree care, and winter risk management services throughout Southern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware.
