Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Tree Climber / Tree Care Professional to join our Tree Service Crew. In this role, you will work with other various personnel to include climbers, drivers and groundsmen. Ability to perform high-quality tree pruning, removal, and maintenance services. Your ability to blend into the team and ensure safety, efficiency, and excellence on every project while assisting in fostering a positive team environment is required. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in tree care! Duties Work with various team members such as other tree climbers, drivers and groundsmen Perform advanced tree climbing, pruning, trimming, and removal tasks with precision and care Oversee & Assist in the setup of rigging, climbing gear, and equipment to facilitate efficient work processes, whether done via bucket or climbing practices Coordinate & work with project managers/ teams to plan daily tasks and prioritize job site safety and productivity with the team Conduct inspections of trees and work sites to identify hazards, assess risks, and determine appropriate care strategies Maintain a schedule & the have the ability to be flexible with all aspects of the position Support in training of fellow crew members in proper climbing techniques, safety procedures, landscaping practices, and equipment maintenance. Experience Proven experience in climbing with expertise in trimming and removals, either climbing or use of a bucket truck Knowledge of construction practices relevant to all types of tree projects Familiarity with safety standards for climbing trees and operating related equipment such as chainsaws, rigging gear, and harnesses Strong understanding of plant health care principles including pruning techniques and management Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients while maintaining a positive attitude & Schedule Class A CDL preferred, Drivers License without Restrictions is strongly preferred ISA Certification preferred Join us as a Tree Climber/ Tree Care Professional and become part of a team that's passionate about transforming outdoor spaces!
