Job Description
West Coast Arbor Care is hiring an experienced Lead Tree Climber to join our growing team. We're looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in safety, quality work, and customer service. This is a leadership role for someone confident in advanced climbing, technical removals, and communicating directly with homeowners. ⸻ Responsibilities Perform advanced tree climbing using SRT (Single Rope Technique) Execute proper pruning techniques following industry standards Complete technical and tight-quarter removals safely and efficiently Lead and direct ground crew on job sites Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are followed Communicate professionally with homeowners and clients Maintain and inspect climbing gear and equipment ⸻ Qualifications 3+ years of professional tree climbing experience Strong knowledge of proper pruning techniques Proven experience with SRT climbing systems Experience in tight-access and technical removals Leadership experience in a crew setting Strong customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license required ⸻ Preferred ISA Certified Arborist (or working toward certification) CDL (Class A or B) ⸻ Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement Supportive, safety-focused team environment Ongoing training and skill development
