Agriculture Equipment Shop Mechanic

Job Summary Wylie & Son Inc is a leading Case IH dealership specializing in agricultural equipment sales, service, and repairs. We are committed to providing top-tier service and support to farmers and agricultural businesses. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Case IH Tractor Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Case IH tractors and other agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and experience working with Case IH or similar agricultural machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Case IH tractors, combines, planters, and other agricultural equipment. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and service to ensure optimal performance. Use Case IH diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and implement solutions. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins. Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders efficiently. Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repairs and recommendations. Stay up to date with Case IH equipment technology, industry trends, and service protocols. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines in the shop and field.

Qualifications:

Technical degree or certification in diesel mechanics, agricultural equipment technology, or a related field preferred. Minimum 1 or more years of experience as a service technician (Case IH experience preferred). Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
