Agronomy Operations

Agronomy Operations- Buxton, ND Valley United Coop is seeking a full-time agronomy operations person around the Buxton area. This role will primarily be responsible for the maintenance of facilities and equipment as well as warehouse duties, seed treating, blending fertilizer, and some custom application. You will be working with the location manager, shop foreman, and agronomy staff to determine which duties are the highest priority on any given day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain warehouse and accurate inventory. Perform the respective services offered. Treat Seed Blend Liquid and Dry Fertilizer Load & Record Liquid Fertilizer Load and deliver wholesale products directly to farms. Maintain a clean yard and facility. Work as a team to demonstrate Valley United's core values. Create and complete soil samples. Continue to learn and be educated in agriculture practices as well as Valley United's product line. Assist in receiving inventory. Basic service of agronomy fleet including trucks, sprayers, and floater equipment Inspect vehicles for mechanical items or safety concerns and perform preventative maintenance. Help at the elevator (as needed)

Education and Experience Required:

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience CDL license with HazMat/tanker endorsement preferred or the ability to obtain. Hold or be able to obtain a Medical Card issued by an FMCSA Certified Doctor Must be able to meet all FMCSA requirements to drive a tractor-trailer. Ability to work long hours during our busy season (home every night)

Pay:

$38,510.49 - $68,421.24 per year
