Job Description As an Airboat Captain, you will: Craft unforgettable memories for up to 18 passengers at a time Safely operate and maneuver the airboat through waterways, swamps, and marshes Provide informative and entertaining commentary during airboat tours, sharing knowledge about the local ecosystem, wildlife, and natural features Ensure the airboat is in good working condition and perform regular maintenance checks Engage with passengers, answer questions, and create a memorable and educational experience for guests To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic . Qualifications Must have a 25-ton Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) Must be able to lift 35lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions Must have valid driver's license Must have a professional, fun personality that connects with guests while touring them around Must be a minimum of 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license to operate company golf carts Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
