WHO MAY APPLY

All qualified Missouri traditional guard members and those eligible for enlistment, appointment or transfer into the Missouri Air Nional Guard. Duties Help Performs organizional and intermedie maintenance on aircraft fuel systems, components, and equipment to include fuel cells, drop tanks, regulors, pumps, relief valves and fuel accessories. Performs required maintenance activities associed with time compliance technical orders (TCTC) involving aircraft fuel systems, inflight refueling systems and reled components. Performs leak check of aircraft fuel systems by visual inspection or by removal of panels and dye tracing fuel leaks. Determines serviceability of fuel cell sealant and replaces it when required. Examines faulty components and determines feasibility of repair, replacement and/or need for submitting unsisfactory reports. Repairs, reassembles, and installs fuel system components and performs operional tests using bench and other reled test equipment. Diagnoses and overhauls fuel accessories by disassembling, cleaning, and examining parts for corrosion, scrches, cracks or other damage. Replaces gaskets and worn parts, reassembles accessories, adjusts and tests to insure proper operion in accordance with standards in technical da. Prepares for and participes in various types of readiness evaluions such as ORI, IG, and DE inspections, mobility, and command support exercises. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Must be able to obtain and maintain the approprie security clearance of the position. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS

Selected candide must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air Nional Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - TSgt (E-6) Minimum Military Grade - A1C (E-3)

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Must possess experience, educion or training which demonstres knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles; knowledge of troubleshooting procedures used to isole malfunctions in aircraft pneudraulic systems. Must have ability to use technical manuals, equipment specificions, and test calibrion procedures in performing the work.

WG-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Must possess specialized experience in repairing, rebuilding and overhauling systems and major components of aircraft hydraulic and pneumic systems. Experience diagnosing malfunctions and overhauling pneudraulic accessories by disassembling, cleaning and examining parts for corrosion, wear, scrches, cracks or other damage, replacing gaskets and other worn parts, and reassembling accessories. Experience in diagnosing trouble and determining remedy when overall knowledge of the entire system is necessary in order to correct a malfunction. Experience in repairing, rebuilding and overhauling major systems of ground equipment and pneumic and hydraulic systems.
