All qualified Missouri traditional guard members and those eligible for enlistment, appointment or transfer into the Missouri Air Nional Guard. Duties Help On a day-to-day basis, analyzes performance, tests, inspects, troubleshoots, identifies and isoles malfunctions, disassembles, modifies or repairs and reassembles the test stions or ECM Pods and their associed peripherals Modifies and updes avionics Pods, support equipment and support software according to applicable technical publicions. Analyzes program da and determines if the criteria is sufficient to provide adeque testing and troubleshooting. Connects associed testing equipment to interface the test stion system to the aircraft system and or Pod to facilite maintenance/repair of line replaceable units (LRUs) from the avionics systems. Assists engineers and technicians in the development and/or modificion of software, interfaces, extender equipment or additional items of test equipment. Inities technical da changes. Provides hands-on training instructions to lower grade personnel concerned with repair of computer controlled automic test equipment, manually controlled test equipment, line replaceable units and aircraft integred systems. Assists engineers and technicians in validion of technical da concerning the repair, maintenance, and test of the test stion and units under test. Requirements Help Conditions of employment May be required to successfully complete a probionary period. Must be able to obtain and maintain the approprie security clearance of the position. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. Creditable Service for Annual Leave accrual may be granted to new employees if he/she possesses superior qualificions essential to the position; and which were acquired through performance in a non-federal or active duty uniformed service position. The duties performed in a non-federal or active duty uniformed service position must directly rele to the position to which appointed and such qualificions are necessary to achieve an important agency mission or performance goal to be eligible. Selected candide must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air Nional Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade•TSgt (E-6)GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: Must possess a valided understanding of the basic principles and concepts of this position and possess skill in collecting and analyzing da effectively, efficiently, and accurely; ability to communice clearly and effectively; skill in duties such as, install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibre, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes; ability to form and write English in reports and presention forms; skill in presenting formal training presentions and briefings; skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting merial; and skill in training, mentoring, leading, and problem-solving.WG-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: Must have least a three-skill level in one of the compible AFSCs, with 12 months of work experiences, th involved installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, aligning, calibring, and rebuilding multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integred electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions. Skilled in performing on-or-off equipment maintenance on one or more complete electronic integred systems associed with the assigned aircraft and/or maintenance on automic flight control systems, instrument systems, inertial or radar navigion systems. Experiences included performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integred systems. Skilled in conducting operional checks, inspections, tests, trouble shooting, removal and replacement of line replaceable units. Capable of isoling unusual malfunctions by using technical orders, schemics, wiring diagrams, tools, and test equipment to include automic test equipment and flight line test systems. Experiences involved solving complex problems by analyzing installion, circuitry, and opering characteristics of the systems. Experienced in maintaining, modifying, calibring and inspecting a wide variety of user tests, measurements, and diagnostic equipment. Skilled craft for installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, aligning, and calibring complete electronic avionics multi-systems controls.WG-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: Must completed an Air Force Seven Skill Level Technical Training School and been awarded a compible Seven Skill Level AFSC and successfully completed least one military professional educion course program; possess least 12 months of specialized experiences working as an Electronic Integred Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12; and possess the craftsman level of knowledge and skills to inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify software controlled automed and manually controlled test stions, electronic circuit maintenance pods, peripherals, support equipment and associed subsystems. Experience working stions to repair and maintain all avionics line-replaceable units and pods. Skilled in analyzing performance results, running tests, inspecting, troubleshooting, identifying and isoling malfunctions. Experience in how to disassemble, modify or repair and reassemble test stions or electronic circuit maintenance pods and their associed peripherals. Skills include the ability to consider the complex inter-reled variables arising from a mix of computer hardware and software, stimulus and measurement systems, and special purpose test subsystems. Experiences involved isoling problems to the failing part using self-test diagnostics, oscilloscopes, frequency meters, signal generors, digital, and differential voltmeters, computer registers and printouts and other special and standard tools and test equipment. Skilled in removing and replacing components, assemblies, subassemblies, or parts using special and common hand tools, soldering devices and special electronic instruments. Experiences involved modifying and upding avionics pods, support equipment, and support software according to applicable technical publicions. This position filled the WG-12 trainee grade or the target grade of WG-13. An applicant who is selected the trainee grade will have potential for promotion to the target grade of WG-13 without further competition. Promotion to full opering/journeyman level made after qualificions and eligibility requirements have been met and the incumbent is performing the higher level in a sisfactory manner. Possession (or previous possession) of AFSC 2A9X4, 2A934, 2A954, or 2A974 is optimum.
