N/A More about this job > Description The Office of the Queens County District Attorney (QDA) is seeking applicants for a Case Manager Specialist within our Diversion & Alternative Sentencing Bureau. This bureau provides a variety of clinical services to criminal justice involved individuals. The Case Manager Specialist will report to the Managing Supervisor of Diversion & Alternative Sentencing and will be responsible for a variety of duties including, but not limited to: Reviewing comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations of defendants and families and engaging in appropriate treatment planning. Supervising Case Managers and Senior Case Mangers. Scheduling site visits with community-based organizations. Serving as a liaison between Assistant District Attorneys (ADAs), defense providers, the judiciary, and treatment providers. Appearing in court and providing status reports of defendants' progress in treatment. Maintaining appropriate records. Conducting presentations to ADAs, interns and students. Assisting with coverage in the Felony Treatment Court Part. Performing all other relevant duties as determined by the Managing Supervisor, Bureau Chief, Deputy Bureau Chief and executive staff.
Preferred Education and Qualification Requirements:
At least five years of prior experience in the treatment court or criminal justice field and/or at QDA. Bachelor's degree and at least one year of prior supervisory experience required; Master's degree highly preferred. Must have a working knowledge of computers; Microsoft Office software; and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range:
$78,000 - $82,000 (commensurate with education and experience) Comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, deferred compensation, NYC pension.
