Role:

• Aluminum Welder/Shipfitter +

• Responsibilities:

• Perform certified aluminum welding (MIG/TIG) in all positions; work from drawings, prints, specs, and instructions; weld and fit aluminum, stainless steel, and occasional non-ferrous materials; assist or perform fitter functions for proper assembly. +

• Materials:

• Aluminum plates/extrusions, stainless steel, and other materials used in yacht building. +

• Tools:

• Operate equipment like shears, presses, grinders, air-saws, clamps, welders, and more. Employees must supply and maintain their own hand tools. +

• Skill Levels:

• There are three skill levels (1 to 3), with advancement based on need, ability, and approval by management. Career growth is tied to continuous learning and skill development. +

• Education:

• High school or technical school background with training in print reading, measurement, and tool use is required. +
• Reporting to:
• Metals Manager +

• Environment:
