Job Overview Join the Amazon warehouse team handling groceries and essential household items
  • the unique customer orders that require powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move throughout the warehouse.
Youll operate forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers at elevated heights up to 40 feet, moving, stowing, and retrieving grocery items efficiently and safely. This role involves working in refrigerated and freezing environments, with a maximum limit of two hours in the freezer daily. Dont worry
  • we provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to keep you warm and comfortable throughout your shift.
Basic job requirements Be 18 years or older Understand and follow instructions in English Lift up to 49 pounds Use safe practices and methods to handle products Stand and walk, as well as push, pull, squat, bend, and reach frequently during shifts Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around Go up and down stairs (where applicable) Meet daily performance goals while following all safety procedures Handle a variety of products you can buy on any of Amazon's order service
  • including meat and alcohol What youll do Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, center riders, order pickers, and other equipment to move, stow, and retrieve grocery items throughout the warehouse
  • each of which you will receive professional training on during your first few days of work Pick cases of grocery products from racking on equipment at heights up to 40 feet as part of daily work Receive and put away grocery inventory in the room-temperature, refrigerator, and freezer sections of the warehouse, working at temperatures as low as
  • 10°F for periods of your shift Lift and move boxes of grocery items and household essentials Use technology like computers, smartphones, and voice-pick (voice-based order system to select and palletize grocery orders for stores) Schedule options Shift Options.
Early Morning, Daytime, Evening, and Overnight hours. Weekly Hours. Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), or Part-Time (20-29 hours). Schedule Flexibility.

Choose from a Fixed weekly schedule or Flexible Schedules. Work-Life Balance. 3-day weekends available on select shifts, with opportunities for overtime when needed. Operation Hours.
