MGP Ingredients is a leading supplier of premium distilled spirits and food ingredient solutions. Its Distilling Solutions segment provides bourbons, whiskeys, ryes, gins, and vodkas to craft and multinational brands. MGP's own Branded Spirts business is growing following the 2021 acquisition of Luxco, a top spirits producer, bottler, supplier, and importer as well as the 2023 acquisition of Penelope Bourbon, known for its wide range of uniquely blended expressions. Ingredient Solutions delivers nutritional, functional wheat- and pea-based ingredients aligned with consumer trends. The company operates in locations across the Midwestern U.S., and overseas in Northern Ireland and Mexico. The Opportunity The Ambassador provides a fun, exciting, and engaging experience for visitors at the distillery. They conduct educational tours of the distillery and engage the visitor in the history, distilling process, and provenance of our brands. Ambassadors will also guide the visitor on a tasting experience at the distillery.

What You Will Be Doing:

Visitor Engagement

• Engage with visitors in the Visitor Center regarding distillery history, company history, bourbon trail knowledge, Company brands and the competition
• Greet visitors upon arrival
• Assist with VIP and Marketing Events including off-site events as needed Distilling Knowledge
• Represent the Company brands with passion and intellect
• Understand the basics of the distilling process
• Understand and speak to the overall market of bourbon and/or other spirits Communication
• Conduct tours and tastings of the distillery to visitors with group sizes varying from 2 - 20 visitors
• Explain the distilling process in a manner that visitors can understand and relate to Retail
• Perform opening and closing duties including cleaning, stocking, and set-up throughout entire shift as needed
• Cash out customers with retail purchases
• Stock retail space consistently and throughout entire shift
• Clean tasting area before and after tastings as well as set-up for each tasting
• Assist with receiving, tagging, and merchandising product and the POS (point of sale)
• Understand and perform all tasks according to the corresponding

SOP Who We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Hospitality/Bourbon tourism experience preferred
• Outgoing, charismatic personality
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
