Job Description

SeaView's Adult Mental Health Residential Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team. If you are passionate about helping others facing behavioral health challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to recover and lead successful lives.

Behavioral Health Tech (1)
Full-time Compensation Package:
Hourly Rate:
$18-20 per hour
Temporary Staff Housing:
Temporary Staff housing is available to support you in moving to Seward, AK. Housing requires a modest payroll deduction. Please inquire at interview.
Responsibilities:
Provide empathetic and non-judgmental support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders Facilitate group discussions and support sessions Assist clients in setting goals and creating individualized plans Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment Promote a safe and supportive community within residential and housing programs Encourage clients to engage in healthy recreational and social activities Assist in crisis intervention, as needed Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Driver's License Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude Reliable and punctual
