Analyst, Finance Information Systems (Workday Specialist)

General Summary:

This role supports and trains users on primary finance information systems, specializing in Workday applications. The Finance Information Systems Analyst develops and manages business processes and workflows within Workday finance modules to address organizational needs, monitor risks, and identify improvement opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and administer business processes and workflows in Workday finance areas to meet current and emerging organizational requirements. Perform system integrity checks and verify business processes for accuracy and compliance with internal and external reporting standards. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accuracy and compatibility of integrated systems and business processes. Review and update operational guides and training materials for Workday finance applications; provide instructional support as needed. Offer additional support to other functional areas within the department to maintain essential operations.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in any field is required, with a preference for accounting or business-related disciplines.

Experience:

Minimum of one year of experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll, or Accrual Accounting. Experience with Workday is preferred.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

The position requires considerable mental focus on repetitive tasks for extended periods. Work is primarily sedentary with extensive computer use.
