Job description Job Description Analytical Associate (Office-Scientific/Clinical) Position Summary The Analytical Chemist Associate is responsible for performing physical, chemical, and bioanalytical characterization of finished products and raw material test samples. This role supports P&G's experimental objectives by applying diverse chemistry techniques and scientific methods to generate accurate data that informs business decisions. Key Responsibilities Conduct physical, chemical, and bioanalytical characterization of test samples. bench chemistry techniques including pH measurement, viscosity testing, particle size analysis, chromatography, gravimetric analysis, and sample preparation. Operate laboratory instrumentation and ensure accurate sample analysis. Document experimental procedures and results in laboratory notebooks with precision. Review reports and ensure compliance with quality systems. Prepare detailed reports that highlight findings and recommend solutions to support decision-making. Maintain lab safety behaviors and techniques at all times. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field. Relevant experience in academic or industrial laboratory settings, with emphasis on notebook documentation. Ability to analyze and document diverse types of data. Proficiency in operating basic lab equipment (pH meters, pipettes, spectrophotometers, etc.). Strong math skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Technical Skills Must Have Following lab procedures and executing instructions accurately. Formulation preparation (weighing, combining, transferring, and mixing powder & liquid materials). Lab safety techniques and compliance behaviors.
