Analytical Chemist 2 Souderton, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22544295 Summary Souderton, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 2 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Almac Group is currently seeking an Analytical Chemist 2 for our Souderton, Pa. location. The Analytical Chemist 2 will execute all analytical work including development, validation, transfer, raw materials, product release and stability testing. Perform, monitor and accept accountability for all assigned analytical duties relating to routine assignments as well as projects. Ensure adherence to cGMP and Almac policies and procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform analytical testing right-first time in order to complete work within the budgeted resource time and in line with agreed project timelines.
This could include:
  • Method development/transfer/validation
  • Raw material testing
  • Release testing
  • Stability testing
  • Reference standard testing Fully competent in some of the following analytical techniques:
  • HPLC
  • Dissolution
  • GC
  • IR
  • UV
  • KF
  • Other general analytical techniques (titrations, wet chemistry) Ensure appropriate training and understanding in all assigned work, prior to execution of work.
Ensure strict adherence to all cGMP and Almac policies and procedures. Take responsibility for work performed and ensure successful project outcomes as measured by QQTE (Quantity, Quality, Timeliness & Efficiency) metrics
Qualifications:
Required Experience /
Education:
BS within an Analytical or Chemistry or related sciences discipline Previous 2-5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Hands on experience running HPLC and/or Dissolution
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and quality systems Preferred Experience /
Education:
Knowledge of the drug development lifecycle
  • Hands on experience with GC, KF, FTIR, UV/Vis Spectroscopy or other general analytical wet chemistry techniques
Additional Qualifications:
  • Customer service/client relations
  • Ability to work well across a wide peer group and to support multidisciplinary project delivery
