Flexible 1st shift hours with voluntary OT. You can choose to do 4-10hr days or a Mon-Fri schedule. Just has to be during day time hours and stay consistent!

This requires a high level of craftsmanship in both fabrication and TIG welding , especially when working with stainless steel and sanitary requirements. Overview We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder with intermediate fabrication skills to join our tight-knit fabrication team. This is a hands-on role focused on precision sanitary TIG welding for custom conveyor and automation systems used in the food industry. This is not a repetitive production welding job —every project is different. You'll work from detailed drawings to build new, custom stainless-steel assemblies with a strong emphasis on clean, high-quality welds and precise fit-up . What Makes This Role Different Clean, air-conditioned indoor shop (rare in this industry) Custom work•no repetitive "same part" welding Small, experienced team (core welders with 8-30 years tenure) High standards for sanitary welding and craftsmanship Primarily TIG welding (little to no MIG or Stick) Key Responsibilities Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel , including sanitary welds Execute fuse welding techniques for food-grade applications Read and interpret engineering drawings with weld symbols and dimensions Perform basic to intermediate fit-up and fabrication , including: Cutting and prepping material Tack welding and alignment Holding tolerances within ~1/16" Assemble custom conveyor components and weldments Ensure welds meet sanitary standards (smooth, clean, defect-free) Collaborate with team members to complete custom builds Qualifications 5+ years of TIG welding experience (required) Strong experience with stainless steel welding Experience with sanitary welding (food industry or similar preferred) Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and weld callouts Intermediate fabrication skills (fit-up, alignment, layout) Ability to work independently and "hit the ground running" Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, high-quality work Nice-to-Have (Not Required) Experience with grinding and polishing stainless welds Background in food processing equipment or field service work Work Environment Very clean, organized, and climate-controlled shop Small team with a direct, no-nonsense culture —team players with thick skin do well here Focus on quality, craftsmanship, and consistency Who This Role Is Ideal For A skilled TIG welder who enjoys precision work over production welding Someone with some fabrication experience who can fit and assemble—not just weld A welder who takes pride in clean, sanitary welds and tight tolerances Someone who prefers variety and custom builds over repetitive work Who This Role Is NOT For Production welders who only run MIG or Stick Candidates without TIG or stainless experience Welders who rely on pre-fit parts and don't do their own setup If you take pride in high-quality TIG welding and want to work in a clean, professional shop on custom-built systems , we'd like to hear from you. 10214317 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
