Job description Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Anesthesiology in Kearney, NE and Make a Difference in Patient Care! We are seeking dedicated Locum Physicians to provide exceptional anesthesia services at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE. What You'll Bring Valid medical license and board certification in Anesthesiology. Proven experience in administering general anesthesia across a range of procedures including ortho, spine, gynecology, urology, interventional radiology, neurosurgical (spine and intracranial), general surgery, robotic procedures, ENT (head and neck), pediatric, vascular (open and interventional), and advanced GI procedures. Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, patient safety, and emergency protocols. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff. Nice to Have Skills Prior experience working in hospital settings with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Epic. Familiarity with high-acuity surgical environments or specialized procedure support. Additional certifications or training relevant to anesthesia care. Preferred Education and Experience MD or DO with active Nebraska medical license. Minimum of 2 years' experience in anesthesia practice, preferably in hospital settings. Experience in a locum or temporary position is a plus but not required. Other Requirements Ability to work Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7 am to 3 pm or 7 am to 5 pm no night or weekend call required. Must be able to credential with CHI Health within 90 days and complete necessary billing enrollments. Travel arrangements are local; no flights required.
