(OSLNH) is a state-of-the-art, 60-bed long-term care facility with a 12-bed memory care unit , proudly managed by Native American Health Management (NAHM) . Oversight of the facility is provided by a dedicated three-person Board of Directors. This position assists with general repairs, upkeep, and preventative maintenance to ensure a comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on facility equipment and grounds Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical maintenance tasks Maintain outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, sweeping, and snow removal as needed Replace light bulbs and assist with general facility upkeep Follow maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly Follow all safety, sanitation, infection control, and fire safety procedures Assist with moving equipment and supplies when needed Performs other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and/or Administrator Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Two forms of Identification (Tribal ID, if claiming Indian Preference) Vaccination Records No experience required — training provided Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work respectfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions Must be at least 16 years old This position may require standing, bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
