Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an Animal Caregiver and become a vital part of providing compassionate, high-quality care to animals in our facility. This energetic role involves hands-on animal handling, ensuring their well-being through attentive care, and supporting managerial staff with essential tasks. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and cleaning enclosures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment Assist with animal restraint during examinations or treatments using proper techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff Administer medications and treatments accurately following veterinary instructions and aseptic techniques Handle animals with gentle confidence, including dogs, cats Maintain detailed records of animal health, treatments administered, and behavioral observations in accordance with veterinary terminology standards Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and communicating effectively with pet owners Requirements Prior experience working in kennels or animal shelters is highly desirable Strong knowledge of animal husbandry practices across various species including dogs, cats Ability to handle animals safely using restraint techniques suitable for different species and sizes Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and pet care best practices is essential Experience with medication administration Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members effectively Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to contribute your passion for animal care in a supportive setting that values your skills and dedication.
