Aug 17, 2026 Job Description Noble School District (MSAD 60) is looking to hire a Special Education Teacher (282 or 286 Certified B-5) for our new preKindergarten special education program at Vivian Hussey School in Berwick Maine. This Special Educator would work collaboratively with service providers (Speech Therapist, OT, PT, BCBA, etc) to create a safe and energetic learning environment for all students for 4 year old students with IEPs. In addition to providing the education for students in PreK, this position is an integral part of the Hussey Special Education Team. This team of certified educators oversee several education technicians; provide professional development opportunities for the Educational Technicians; share resources across teams / grade levels / content areas to support all students' needs; and seamlessly support each other's needs and building needs throughout the day. Responsibilities would include: Special Education Law Knowledge IEP Development Experience Data Collection for academic, functional, and behavioral goals VBMapp Experience and / or knowledge of early childhood standards Collaborative Work Ethic Ability to provide professional development Knowledge of best teaching practices for identified students Knowledge of activities of daily living Supervision, Coaching, and Support for Educational Technicians
