Staff Accountant / Accounts Payable Accountant

Expanding organization with a new office location opening in Bessemer Compensation $50,000-$75,000 base salary, depending on experience What You'll Be Doing Process high-volume accounts payable transactions and vendor invoices
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
Monitor AP aging reports and vendor statement reconciliations
Support automation and process improvement initiatives within AP
Maintain W-9 and 1099 documentation compliance
Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting What You'll Need to be Considered Experience in a high-volume AP environment
Strong foundation in general accounting and bookkeeping processes
Advanced Excel skills
ERP system experience
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to AP automation tools such as Bill.com, Tipalti, or Coupa is a plus How To Apply
