• 30/hr DOE A growing organization in Elk Grove is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support full‑cycle AP operations.

This is a temp‑to‑hire opportunity with long‑term potential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Full‑cycle accounts payable processing Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and electronic payments Perform 3‑way match (invoice, PO, receiving) Maintain and update vendor records (including W‑9s) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Support month‑end close and audit requests Utilize Excel for reconciliations, tracking, and reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor'd Degree is required (in any major) 2 or more years of accounts payable experience Strong experience with full‑cycle AP and check runs Strong Excel skills required Experience in a nonprofit or mission‑driven organization a plus Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills This role is ideal for an AP professional looking to join a mission‑driven organization with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position.
