Position Highlights The inpatient Palliative Care APP treats patients across multiple units at Moore Regional Hospital. The care team includes four Palliative Care APP s and two dedicated social worker s . Multi-disciplinary approach to care; collaborate with Hospitalists, specialists, nurses, discharge planners and others. Qualifications NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification. PA must be a graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. Minimum 2 years of advanced practice experience required . APPs function autonomously across all units. Not suitable for new grad . Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision-making. Exceptional communication skills; must be able to effectively navigate sensitive patient/family discussions. Clean background, NC license, and NC DEA required .
