Appliance Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. This role involves working directly with customers to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and ensure their appliances are functioning optimally. Duties Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens. Utilize electrical schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within appliances. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Conduct equipment repairs and perform routine maintenance on appliances to ensure longevity and efficiency. Assist in the delivery of appliances as needed, operating a box truck safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job. Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment. Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required. A valid driver's license is necessary for operating delivery vehicles. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
