Responsibilities Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently. Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers and ovens with precision and attention to detail. Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring, control boards, and electrical components safely. Assemble or disassemble appliances as needed for repair or replacement of parts. Conduct refrigeration repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of cooling systems. Drive a box truck to customer locations for on-site repairs, ensuring timely arrivals and professional interactions. Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience. Requirements Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment repair. Prior delivery driver experience preferred; must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating a box truck. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues in an understandable manner. Familiarity with assembly processes and working with various tools and equipment necessary for repairs. Strong field service background with the ability to work independently in diverse environments.
