Job Description

Application Laboratory Technician, Perfumery & Beauty -
Princeton, NJ Location:
Princeton, NJ, US As an Application Laboratory Technician, you'll support the Application Labs by preparing air care samples for evaluation, stability checks, and customer submission. You'll manage customers, documentation, and coordinate with internal partners, focusing on air care lab applications.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver complex application samples for internal and external clients using our CLASS sampling system while adhering to delivery due dates and applying good laboratory practices
  • Ensure all samples meet the quality standards as per the global Standard Operating Procedures before releasing the samples; identify and flag any technical sampling issues
  • Keep application bases up to date and ensure alignment with collection in digital systems
  • Ensure the personal workbench is clean and organized
  • Operate with positive team spirit and support colleagues under high workload circumstances

You Bring:
  • Previous experience in the fragrance industry strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Self-starter, with a strong sense of ownership, assertiveness and passion for high level of client satisfaction
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with tight project deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferably in a concentration of Science, along with a minimum of 1 year of practical laboratory experience The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position.
Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly rate of $25.00-$30.00. In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
