Raith is seeking a motivated Applications Engineer to support sales projects in electron beam lithography. This position will be based at Raith's Customer Experience Center in Troy, NY.
Your mission
Operate advanced electron beam lithography equipment in alignment with customer specifications.
Optimize processes utilizing metrology instruments such as Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), confocal microscopes, and other related tools.
a variety of electron beam-resists to different substrates using spin coaters.
Conduct live demonstrations to effectively showcase equipment capabilities to customers.
Prepare and deliver detailed sample reports to clients.
Maintain demonstration equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate closely with team members while maintaining significant responsibility within your designated areas.
Your Qualifications
PhD or Masters degree in Physics, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a strong curiosity and an aptitude for abstract thinking.
Hands-on laboratory experience with high-tech equipment, ideally acquired during a master's program from an accredited institution.
Experience with lithography equipment, particularly in direct-write electron beam lithography, is highly desirable.
Experience with microscopy tools such as SEM, AFM, FIB-SEM, and TEM is a plus.
Highly motivated and self-driven, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
Capable of working in a yellow room environment, with the potential to work in a clean room setting in the future. The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually. The exact compensation will be deteremind based on the candidate's years of relavent experience and work location. In addition to pay we offer a comrehensive benefits package.
