$1,500 Appointment Coordinator Lumina Imaging At Lumina Imaging we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services, specializing in advanced imaging solutions. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for all our patients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Appointment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an Appointment Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a crucial role in managing appointments for our imaging services.
What You'll Do:
Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling, confirming, and coordinating patient appointments while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office. Serves as preliminary contact for Lumina Imaging Gathers and analyzes payor data to achieve optimal reimbursement Ensures appropriate patient registration and scheduling for advanced imaging procedure Assists Lumina staff as required; assists in handling all confidential matters. May assist in the coordination and allocation of departmental workflow and participates in departmental activities as required. Demonstrates customer service orientation meeting the expectations of internal and external customers in person and via telephone encounters. Works effectively as a team member by offering support and/or ideas to enable the group to reach group goals. Orients employees to practice operations as requested. Performs clerical duties as required to ensure the maintenance of an efficient practice (i.e. contacting providers at the request of the Lumina patient care staff, ordering medical and office supplies; receiving, sorting and distributing mail; copying materials, etc.). Keeps abreast of trends, developments and practices by participating in continuing education courses and reading current literature. Participates required educational programs. Composes written correspondence and other materials, related to office operation; assists in their preparation and/or distribution as requested. Contributes to special projects as required, including but not limited to projects addressing patient experience, revenue enhancement, and performance improvement. Consistently upholds the

High School graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam. One year of relevant experience in procedural scheduling, medical billing, coding, and/or medical terminology required. Proficient with a personal computer and related software applications. Exceptional customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. Three years medical office experience to include procedural scheduling and insurance authorization duties preferred. Previous experience working with managed care, insurance companies and other healthcare related vendors preferred. Experience working with an electronic medical record preferred. Why Join Us? Schedule:
