We are growing and are in need of an Apprentice Optician for our Burlington, MA location. We will consider full and part time applicants. We are looking for an Apprentice Optician (or someone experienced in optical looking to become an Optician) who's number one goal is to provide exceptional customer service and care for our patients. Lab experience is a bonus, or if you would like to learn the lab, we'd love to teach you. Our focus first and foremost is doing what is best for our patients which is quality service and products. We provide goals and sales commissions with this position. We are offering a career path and a home, rather than just a job!

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide patients with an outstanding experience
- Educate patients and make professional recommendations based on their individual needs
- Develop professional relationships with coworkers and Doctors as it is important to work as a team
- Ensure a quality patient experience through correct pricing, accurate POS entry, and realistic delivery time frames
- Provide appropriate guidance to patients regarding their Managed Vision Care benefits
- Assist with the timely execution of approved marketing signage and promotions according to company standards
- Other duties as assigned by Store Manager
- There may be times you will be asked to cover at other location in Saugus.
Knowledge, Qualifications, & Skills:
- Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results
- Experience and proven results with a retail or customer service establishment
- Ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to help grow the business
- Ability to provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet/exceed patient expectations
- Foster positive and productive associate and doctor relationships
- Attention to detail and follow-up
- Ability to manage priorities through adaptability and flexibility
- Willingness to take calculated risks
- Experience with computers
