We are not a retail counter — we are a production operation with proprietary formulation software, an 580+ material library, and an active Whatnot live commerce channel. We are hiring one apprentice to support back-of-house production and live stream operations, with a structured path into hands-on perfumery training over six months. This is a real apprenticeship you will learn professional formulation and applications like candles, soaps, & fine fragrances. The right candidate will earn their way from operations support into the formulation room. What You'll Do in the First Months Pack and ship customer orders (Whatnot, wholesale, direct) Operate the label printer and prep label files for outgoing batches Maintain raw material inventory and keep the Materials database current Set up and break down Whatnot live streams — camera, lighting, products on deck, restock between segments Capture short-form video and photo content during streams and production sessions Receive and log incoming raw material shipments Keep the production floor clean, organized, and audit-ready What You'll Earn the Right to Do (Months 3-6+) Weighing raw materials on analytical scales Preparing dilutions and reference standards Assisting on production batches under direct supervision Working inside our proprietary Scent Engine formulation software Supervised accord exercises and basic formulation work Structured introduction to our raw material library Requirements Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule Strong attention to detail — you will be handling expensive materials and exact measurements Comfortable on your feet; able to lift up to 30 lbs Basic computer literacy (shipping software, spreadsheets, phone camera) Genuine interest in perfumery, fragrance, or cosmetic science Clear written and spoken English Nice to Have Background in chemistry, cosmetic science, art, or design Experience with live streaming, content capture, or short-form video Familiarity with shipping platforms or label design Existing curiosity about raw materials, naturals, or DIY perfumery Who This Is Not For Anyone looking for sales floor or customer-facing retail work — this role is back-of-house Anyone who needs full-time hours immediately Anyone expecting to formulate from day one.
