Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections support. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while partnering with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and payment issues. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and post accurate customer invoices in accordance with contracts and accounting standards Apply cash receipts, credits, and adjustments; research and resolve discrepancies or unapplied cash Maintain and analyze AR aging reports; follow up on past-due accounts as needed Reconcile accounts receivable subledger to the general ledger Investigate and resolve billing, pricing, and payment issues in collaboration with customers and internal teams Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and AR reporting Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation related to AR transactions Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure compliance with internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2-5+ years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience Strong understanding of AR processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles Proficiency in Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Pay Details:
