This role focuses on accounts receivable cleanup, research, analysis, and preparation of detailed payment applications. Key Responsibilities – AR Specialist Perform AR cleanup to resolve outstanding balances and discrepancies Conduct detailed research and analysis of accounts receivable issues Prepare and process accurate, detailed payment applications Review remittance advice and reconcile payments to patient and insurance accounts Collaborate with internal billing and finance teams to resolve variances Maintain accurate documentation and follow healthcare compliance standards Qualifications – AR Specialist Prior experience in accounts receivable, preferably within a healthcare environment Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience with payment application and AR reconciliation High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting Proficiency with billing systems and Microsoft Office tools #
