POSITION SUMMARY
The AR Systems Analyst owns the end-to-end flow of donor revenue-from weekly cash and check counts to online gifts processed in Pushpay-into our Salesforce CRM and Sage Intacct General Ledger. Blending accounts-receivable fundamentals with data-management savvy, you will ensure that every contribution is captured accurately, reconciled promptly, and reported clearly for multiple legal entities. Success in this role hinges on meticulous attention to detail,strong internal-control instincts, and a passion for leveraging systems to support ministry impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Donation Processing (Cash & Checks) o Receive, open, and count weekly cash and check offerings under dual control.
o Prepare batched deposit slips and post gifts by entity, fund, and campaign in Salesforce/Pushpay "Offline Gifts." o Reconcile physical deposits to Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and bank reports; research and resolve discrepancies. o Maintain secure custody of undeposited funds following segregation-of-duties policies.
  • Online Gifts & Data Integration o Import, validate, and post daily Pushpay transactions into Salesforce via flows or data-loader tools. o Map new funds, campaigns, and giving types, ensuring correct AR/GL coding for each entity in Sage Intacct. o Monitor automated sync jobs and troubleshoot errors quickly.
  • General Ledger & Sage Intacct o Prepare and upload journal entries or import files to record donor revenue in Sage Intacct.
Maintain dimension mappings (entity, location, department, project, class) to ensure accurate financial reporting. o Assist the Accounting team with month-end close tasks, account reconciliations, and audit schedules derived from Sage Intacct.
  • Data Quality & Governance o Run weekly audits to identify duplicates, incomplete records, or out-of-policy values; merge or correct as needed. Enforce naming conventions, field-level security, and picklist standards; maintain the Finance Data Dictionary.
  • Reconciliations & Reporting o Reconcile Pushpay settlements, cash/check deposits, Salesforce data, and Sage Intacct GL against bank activity for multiple entities. o Produce recurring dashboards (giving trends, pledge progress) and deliver month-end donor-revenue summaries to Accounting.
  • Process Improvement & Support o Partner with Salesforce Admins and Accounting to refine automation, validation rules, and page layouts that streamline AR tasks. o Train ministry staff on proper gift entry and basic reporting; field donor-data questions.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality o Safeguard donor information and physical funds in alignment with
PCI-DSS, IRS
regulations, and internal policies. Assist with year-end giving statements and external audit requests Requirements Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education & Experience o Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred). o 1+ year handling accounts receivable or contribution processing, including data entry in Salesforce (NPSP/Nonprofit Cloud) and Pushpay (or similar). o Exposure to Sage Intacct or another cloud GL system; understanding of multi-entity GL coding.
  • Technical Skills o Working knowledge of Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data-loading tools. o Basic navigation, import/export, and report-running skills in Sage Intacct. o Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets (v-lookups, pivot tables). o Comfort manipulating CSV files and large data sets.
  • Soft Skills o Impeccable attention to detail and strong sense of internal control. o Clear written and verbal communication; able to translate technical issues for non-technical staff. o Alignment with the mission and values of Redemption Church; treats donor data and funds with discretion and respect. Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) or NPSP/Nonprofit Cloud certification.
  • Prior hands-on experience posting transactions or running financial reports in Sage Intacct.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit revenue-recognition rules (ASC 958). Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Typical office environment plus time in a secured count room/vault; prolonged periods at a computer workstation.
  • Regular handling of currency and deposits; occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
