9 Project Architect Client is looking for a full- time registered architect to join their team. Client is a medium-sized, award-winning firm, specialized in commercial architecture and cold-climate design. They are seeking a Licensed Architect/Project Manager who can confidently lead a project from start to finish, while enjoying the support of a talented production team and a principal who values and empowers our employees. Client prefer candidates with several years of project management and commercial design experience, but encourage those with less to apply if they feel capable of meeting the requirements with added support as they grow into the role. Specific responsibilities include project management, schematics, design development, specifications, construction documentation and construction administration. Work may also include planning, feasibility studies, building assessments, BIM/Revit modeling, and LEED/Sustainable building design. Ability to coordinate and lead a production team is key to long-term success. Qualifications • 10+ years of production experience in commercial architecture • Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up or other design modeling so ware, and Adobe Creative Suite • A history of managing multi -discipline design teams on a variety of building types • Solid understanding of the International Building Codes and local Zoning Codes • Architectural Registration (Alaska and/or other states) • Excellent planning, decision making, organizational and time management skills • Effective written, verbal, and graphic communication on skills
