We're looking for an experienced Job Captain to join our Education team working on various projects from K-12 to higher education in our Fresno office. An ideal candidate will serve as a primary technical resource to project teams, consistently apply and deepen their understanding of general concepts, standards, and team dynamics, and offer high-level technical and design documentation support. This individual has experience with projects ranging in size and complexity in the Education market. We are looking for a stellar individual who wants to change the world, one project at a time. Sound like you? As a Job Captain, you will: Monitor the production and coordination of construction documents, ensuring alignment with DSA codes, standards, and consultant work. Collaborate with project architects to resolve design, program, and regulatory requirements (DSA). Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors across all project phases to maintain project continuity. Support development of bid and construction packages and assist with construction administration activities. Track and communicate impacts to scope, budget, schedule, and risk, including client or consultant-driven changes. Contribute to project planning, enforce QA/QC standards, and ensure compliance with firm and K-12 design protocols, while upholding The Lionakis Way standards for design, quality control, and production. Delegate tasks, mentor junior staff, and support team deliverables, presentations, and multi-project workflows. The Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent, and a minimum of 6 years of architectural project experience. Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Professional experience within K-12 projects in California, beyond internship experience. The Like-to-Haves Proficiency with Bluebeam. Salary Range:
$90,100-$115,200 annually. Compensation and level DOE.
