Our diverse team combines creative vision with precise execution for projects from large-scale branded rollouts to small, detailed interventions. Specializing in retail, workplace, hospitality, healthcare, and specialty commercial environments, we are recognized for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Role Description MSA is seeking a full-time Healthcare Project Architect to work on diverse small, technical projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing them through all phases. Our candidate will be a solutions-oriented professional with proven leadership and project management skills, working with architects and designers to lead the documentation process and project documents. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Oakland, CA office. Responsibilities •
Design & Technical Leadership:
Developing and directing complex architectural designs, technical documentation, and Revit construction drawings. •Project Management:
Leading projects to completion by managing project teams, defining project scope, monitoring budgets, and coordinating with consultants. Manage multiple healthcare projects, ensuring all documentation, permitting, and compliance requirements are met. •Client Relations & Communication:
Serving as the main contact for clients, presenting designs, and managing client expectations, including all subconsultants. •Regulatory Compliance:
Ensuring all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, ADA requirements, and safety regulations. •Mentorship & Team Leadership:
Guiding junior staff, conducting quality control reviews, and fostering staff development. •Construction Administration:
Overseeing site visits, reviewing submittals, and managing contractor communication during construction. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of design or architecture. Must be a Registered Architect. 10+ years' experience in Project Management in architecture with healthcare experience. A positive and collaborative work style. Flexibility to travel, when required. Strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills. Proven track record of success in maintaining and growing client relationships. Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients and consultants. Excellent communication with the ability to present at all levels. Have excellent knowledge of current trends, industry practices, and codes affecting the industry. Experience and knowledge of sustainable design principles and building codes, LEED accreditation required. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, while juggling multiple projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows environment, Revit, Bluebeam, project scheduling, and budgeting programs. Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications. The salary for this role is estimated at $ 110,000- $150,000, plus benefits and performance-based bonuses.Pay:
