W|A Associates, Inc is a small architectural firm located in downtown San Rafael serving clients throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Our diverse project portfolio includes multi-family residential rehabilitation projects, single-family home renovations, building code content development, custom homes, and commercial tenant improvements. We are seeking motivated individuals at various experience levels—from entry- and mid-level Project Designers and Project Assistants to experienced Architects—to join our collaborative and growing team. Position Description Reporting directly to one of the firm's Principals, this position offers valuable hands-on experience across a variety of project types, and an opportunity to work under the supervision and mentorship of a Senior Architect. Responsibilities will primarily focus on technical and project-related tasks including: Design Development and Construction Document production Site visits and field observations Building code and project-related research Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD is preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with graphic design, 3D modeling, and presentation software Our Culture We offer a positive and supportive work environment that encourages professional development and long-term career growth.
