Job Description

We are a well-established general contractor specializing in custom/luxury residential construction, with a growing portfolio of commercial projects. We are seeking a Florida Registered Senior Architect to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Senior Architect will play a key role in designing and overseeing projects from concept through construction. This position requires strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of Florida and municipal building codes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop architectural designs for high-end residential and light commercial projects Prepare and review construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and code compliance Ensure all plans meet Florida Building Code requirements and local jurisdiction standards Coordinate with staff members, clients, and permitting authorities Work closely with project managers and field teams during preconstruction and construction phases Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings Sign & Seal Plans for Permitting Maintain project schedules and design timelines
Qualifications:
Active Florida Architect license required 10+ years of experience in architectural design and construction documentation Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code and permitting processes Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit Experience with construction administration and field coordination Familiarity with Procore or similar project management software is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
